Your Role

As an Detailing Technician, you clean and prepare new and used vehicles, as well as vehicles entering the shop before repairs are performed. It may seem like a small task, but your work is essential. Clean vehicles allow our technicians to work more efficiently and provide a better customer experience. A spotless truck doesn’t happen on its own—you make it possible.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Clean new and used vehicles before delivery to customers or prior to repairs.
  • Wash vehicle exteriors using soap, water, cloths, and brushes.
  • Dry vehicles to ensure they are free of streaks and spots.
  • Wash and polish wheels as needed.
  • Clean engine compartments using soap, water, and cleaning products as required.
  • Clean vehicle interiors using vacuums, shampoo, cleaning products, and steam cleaners as needed.
  • Clean interior and exterior glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning products.
  • Carefully inspect the finished vehicle and report any issues to the Shop Foreman.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company and manufacturer policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Comply with all required health and safety regulations.
  • Meet Elite Support requirements to obtain and maintain certification.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Your Background

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a related field.

Additional Requirements

  • You are willing to work outside regular business hours on an occasional basis.
  • You are comfortable standing for extended periods of time.
  • You must complete the Elite Support training program within 180 days of your hire date.
